There are three brothers. The product of their ages is 36. The sum of their ages is egual to the age of their only sister. The three brothers never admit their ages, but their sister always admits her own. even so, you need to know that the oldest brother usually wears his baseball cap backwards. How old is each brother?

All the possible combinations of three ages that multiply to 36 and the sum of each combination is as follows:
1 + 1 + 36 = 38
1 + 2 + 18 = 21
1 + 3 + 12 = 16
1 + 4 + 9 = 14
1 + 6 + 6 = 13
2 + 2 + 9 = 13
2 + 3 + 6 = 11
3 + 3 + 4 = 10
The statement about the sister always admitting her age (the sum of the brothers' ages) says "...even so, you need to know ...". I take this to mean that, even if she tells you her age, you won't know the brothers' ages without more information. The only sum on the list that appears more than once is 13, so I believe the sister is 13. (Otherwise, you would know the brothers' ages right away.) Then the brothers' ages are either 1, 6, and 6 or 2, 2, and 9. The next statement talks about "the oldest brother". If the ages were 1, 6, and 6, there would be two oldest brothers. So I think the brothers' ages are 2, 2, and 9.

A tickey puzzel?
Anyway, I'll take a guess: The youngest is 1, the middle is 2 and the eldest is 18. The sister is therefore 21 and of course she'll freely admit her age. OR the youngest is 1, the middle is 3, the eldest is 12 and the sister is 16, and she'd probably still advertise her age.

The brothers are 2, 3 and 6 and the sister is 11 because she's young enough to still admit her age. and i'd say a six year old would wear a baseball cap backwards.

that is tickey indeed... anyways, it could be either 1, 2 and 18, or it could be 2, 2 and 9, or it could be 1, 4 and 9... i think that wearing his cap backwards is impertinent to the question, and the fact that the sister admits her age is also impertinent... i think you're missing a vital piece of information in this question; otherwise, it's just a guessing game.
