Has this happened to anyone? What course of action did you take? I am interesting in trying natural methods, but am willing to give the hormones a try too.

I have antibodies attacking my thyroid. My TSH levels and T4 levels are within a healthy range.

Sounds like Hashimoto's Thyroid...it's an auto-immune disease.
And yeah, you do have to treat it with medication. Talk to your doc about other alternatives if your not "thrilled" with taking meds.

what do you mean by antibodies? If your thyroid is sluggish, get the hormone replacement. I am on it and it makes all the difference in the world. It is only replacing what your body doesn't make enough of, it's not a steroid or anything.
