First of all don't lose the faith. Second Jesus does hear your prayers. Sometimes we have to go thru things before we get our prayers answered. If God was to give us everything we asked for on our time and not his time, then there would be no reason to worship God or praise him. My enciuragement to you is Wait on the Lord and be of good courage. Isaiah 40: 31 They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength and mount up with wings as eagles. I kow exactly how you feel.
Keep reading your bible. Try this. Don't pray about you needs and pray for someone elses needs and watch what God does in your life. He will take care of your needs. God is not a God that he should lie. Keep the faith dear. Let me know your testimony.

There is no "wrong words" Just talk to god like you're talking to a friend. He's always listening, He just may not answer the way you're looking to be answered. He urges us to "Be still and know that I am God" Quiet your heart and sit before Him. Have patience and wait on Him. Pour out your heart, tell Him how you feel. God is not a genie in a bottle, so He doesn't always just poof your answer right away. He gives you what you need when you need it. Sometimes the answer is no. Pray according to His will, and you will receive everything you ask for in prayer.

You dont believe in your prayers.
JAS 1:2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4 Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6 But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.

Listen to his answers not what you are wanting. Most of the time we think God hasn't answered our prayers and the truth is that we were wanting our answer and he was providing us with his answer so we weren't paying attention. He doesn't make mistakes and even when we think his answer might not be what is needed you have to keep faith that he is doing what is best and needed to resolve what might be going on. I will remember you in my prayers.

First ask forgiveness for any sin that might be in your life. Follow the model Jesus gave us. "Our Father..." Read Matthew chapter 6 And remember God is not Santa Claus. if we ask things according to the will of God they WILL be done. God is allowed to say NO too. Just because He says no sometimes doesn't mean you aren't heard.
