on every single article and every bit of information it says breastfeeding is better and healthy for your baby formula may be healthy but it absolutly is not AS healthy as breastfeeding breastfeeding babies are more healthy in general why do people feel the need to put that they are just as healthy even though every organization that studies this says they are not???

i cant believe how many people don't actually read the question its so stupid i'm not saying the formula fed are not healthy or not smart and i'm just saying that BM is better acording to every study and yet people will not admit this oh i don't care if your the ideal height and weight did i say this was not possible?
did i say bottle feeding was the devils way? you should grow up i am asking a question that i expected answers on not if you have 3 healthy kids that were formula fed obviously that is possible
obviously every single baby that is BF is not healthier then every single formula fed baby but other things can effect how healthy the baby is such as how well the parents take care when the baby is in their body + other things
Overall i am disappointed with the fact that people despite the evidence are still sure they know more then the experts and even though it says on every can of formula that breast is best and there are over 400+ nutrients in BM that cant be duplicated

They think they are smarter then every major medical organization in the world. I also think it's because a lot of women feed their babies formula for various reasons like convenience or discomfort with breastfeeding and don't want to be told that they aren't giving their babies the best possible food for them.

If those are the only options i will bypass with there is not any perfect answer. needless to say, an unvaccinated toddler is in threat for a complete host of illnesses. the present vaccine time table from the CDC protects infants against pertussis (whopping cough), specific motives of meningitis, pneumonia or perhaps ear infections all from rather effortless components. of direction, if additionally protects against polio and a bunch of issues we don't see all that numerous interior the US. So, if an unvaccinated toddler is uncovered to any of those germs needless to say the vaccinated toddler may well be greater healthy even regardless of the indisputable fact that they are formulation fed. That being stated...breastfeeding does furnish some antibiodies interior the 1st few months to help wrestle ailment, and the occurrence of SIDS and ear infections is decrease in breastfed infants, so assuming the youngster lived in a bubble and have been by no skill uncovered to any germs that reason vaccine preventable ailment then the breastfed toddler may well be the healthiest. rather, the healthiest is a vaccinated breastfed toddler in an perfect international.

Look, we all know that breastmilk is best for babies. Its not like this is news but here is an example, my brother was breastfed and he was in and out of hospitals for the first 2 years of his life(very sick baby), now my son is on formula and he however is a very healthy baby.
There are exceptions to every rule, please remember that.

well, my sister and i were both formula fed. i am 5'8" and weigh 135 lbs. and she is 5'10" and weighs 140 lbs - both of us are well within "ideal" weight range, and in excellent health. i never cracked a book in school, and graduated with a 3.8 grade point average (high b, low a); she studied hard, and graduate with a 3.95 GPA (low a). both of us had higher than average college entrance exam scores - both have high IQ. neither one of us ever had any behavioral (i.e. ADD, ADHD) or emotional issues, nor have we had any eating disorders. we both have reasonable self-esteem and social skills. neither of us have asthma or childhood allergies (i must admit that since i had my first child, i have had springtime pollen/mold allergy issues, but nothing that an over the counter antihistamine can't handle).
that being said, even thought there are many advantages to being breast-fed (economic, convenient, sharing of the mother's immunities), i do not see that it is really that much healthier than formula feeding, especially since the formulas today are so much more nutritionally complete than they were when we were babies. also, most of the organizations that have studied this will agree that after 6 weeks, the child has absorbed all the antibodies that is going to from the mother, and after 6 months the child will have received all of the health benefits that it is going to from breast feeding - after that, it is all just food and maternal comforting. i will concede that there are definite health benefits for the mother that are often not discussed when the topic arises (may help reduce the risk of later breast cancers, helps some women with after-birth weight loss).

We all do the best we can. Those who choose formula need to believe that they are doing the best they can, too. Maybe someday soon the Healthcare industry will quit letting the drug companies bully them into telling us that formula is just as good.

Site sources please.
Edit:
Sorry, I didn't mean sources on breastfeeding being healthy, I meant examples of people saying that formula is the same.

For my girls, breastfeeding was healthier. I couldn't produce breast milk. So, it was formula for them or starvation. I think formula was the much better choice

I have 1 child of my own and 4 step children..all were fed formula and all are perfectly healthy. They have NEVER had any problems that could be linked to not being breastfed and all are in good health in general.
