I think that you should go to a japanese restauarant, i went last week with work colleuges, it was so tasty adn no they dont just serve raw fish they do lost of meats. I think it would be a great place to go for a first date as the chef cooks the food in front of you and you sit on a table with other people. Its more like a show and you wont have to talk as much ad you will be having fun.

Well I tended to get to know people over time, through work or via mates, so didn't really have first dates. The one first date I did go on, we saw a depressing movie (Message in a Bottle), talked about the recent war (Bosnia), and ate terrible food. Was so depressed I never went on another date with him!

don't get really nervous, 'cause usually, i've been speaking to or getting to know the guy for sometime. so, pretty much, just enjoy eachother's company. yeah, it's awkward some of the times, but i have a sense of humor, and the best way to get over the weirdness is to make fun of myself. if i laugh and get him to laugh, that usually breaks the ice and we are both at ease.

hmm i used to get scared and now I'm just bored of first dates
we talk about where we work and if we like it and where we live and family and friends and hobbies and favorite places to go and politics and music and books and movies and all that stuff its gay i hate dating now cus i date alot and i know what I'm doing but the guys are just so boring to me now that's why i am friends first and then if i like a certain guy i will date him and if he cant wait there are a million more to choose from
