99% of the time she uses her ALWAYS CLEAN litter box. What goes on in the cat's mind 1% of the time that it feels the need to drop a bomb on the carpet of my master bedroom?

I'd ask mine, but the last time it did that I threw it through the f*cking window. It has not returned. I know what it's mind went through though, a plate glass window. LMAO

Cat's don't poo in inappropriate places out of spite or any other human emotion- they don't know that the master bedroom is not a good place to go.

It is going there in response to some external stimulus - there might be the scent of previous eliminations (the first being an accident) and you could try cleaning the area with an enzymatic cleaner like Nature's Miracle.

It might be reacting to a territorial stimulus - is there another cat in the house, or can the cat see a stray cat from a window in the bedroom? If there is another cat in the house, is the other cat somehow stressing out the first, or bullying it and denying it access to the rest of the house?

It can also be a reaction to pain - has the cat gotten a clean bill of health? It may avoid the litterbox from time to time because it is constipated or has some other unpleasant sensation that it associates with the litterbox (declawing, urinary tract infections, perfumed litter, new brands of litter)

Is the litterbox located in a remote corner of the house? Your cat may not be able to 'hold' it in (especially with kittens or cats that have difficulty moving quickly through the house), and has picked a second toilet spot.

Now if he's doing his whole issue on the floor there's a different issue. But sometimes a cat will get disturbed or spooked while taking a dump and will run out before it's all landed... or it'll stick for a little while. Its probably not intentional, my cats do it on occasion, just grab a paper towel and drop it back in the box or in a trash can and don't blame the cat if its not on purpose. And even if he occasionally uses the floor as a box, he's got other issues, and it may not be box related. Good luck!

Is she dropping it there,, or is it just something that was attached to her? If she is dropping it there she may be telling you it's time to change the litter, or she is telling you something is wrong. She may not like the food you fed her that day and she is letting you know. It's one of the only ways a cat has to tell you something is bothering her.

sometimes its because he can't hold it or he might be angry. We once had this crazy cat that would on poop on my husbands side of the bed. Needless to say we gave him away.

But I have hrd of cats/dogs that jsut cant hold it. Like a human. Not sure how to help with it though.

Sorry
