I am dating a much older woman who is afraid that she would go to jail if the cops knew and i say that wouldn't happen. I am 19 years old and shes 11 years older than i am but shes so hot she doesn't even look like it.

Does this actually vary from state to state? I thought this was a federal matter.

This is a two point question,

you still can not sign a legal contract till you are 18, so you can't rent a house, you can't get the electric turned on, you can't buy a car by yourself.

but at 17 you can leave home.

** at least this was the rule about 7 year ago when my son turned 17 in GA

Thats a broad query adult meaning one of consentual age that would be 18,however to buy and or consume alcohol,or cigarettes 21.
To quit school or leave home from crazy religous fanatic parents that would be as of 13 years ago according to Georgia code annot. it very well could have changed, however it had been that way for 35 years I doubt it.
Check online emory Ga. Code Annotated

It depends, for what? To consent or sign a contract, 18 but to be prosectuted, 16...and lower in special circumstances.

I would assume 18 but if tried for a crime, it depends on the severity of the case!
