The glass can measure from 4mm-19mm thick. I want to make an enclosure entirely out of this tempered glass. This will be clear glass. So i plan to put a neon inside if possible. Will this glass enclosure be able to withstand the pressure of a 12" sub?

Just put the word PLEXI in front of your material and you're set. Drilling, cutting, bolting and making anything structural and you're talking PLEXIglass - easy to find in all colors and thicknesses - but cutting plexi is tricky. You'll need to know saw type, blade and speed/rpm or you'll crack it or melt it - been there, done that

Submarine?

Sub-miniature?

Sub-woofer?

Yes, and No. Depends. what is the mounting method? Silicone caulking? Water proof? Aquarium safe? (so no UV exposure kills the seal).

What is wrong with using Acrylic?

Watch out for those high notes! Myth Busters broke some glass!

If the sub moves enough air to flex the glass, then yes. if its a solid box, like a normal one, you should be fine.

Just air pressure.... (you mean woofer, or sub-woofer? - actually, doesn't matter) won't shatter thick glass - is the cabinet vented, btw??? if it is, then it would be even safer....
