Yes, due to the shortage of troops waivers for HS have been authorized. I believe the number of waivers is limited to (something like) 10-15% of new recruits.
You can also get your GED and enlist.

Yes you can..if you get your G.E.D. General Education Diploma. However, i would suggest that once you are in you continue your education and the military will help you along those endeavors. You can even go on to college with the G.E.D. My nephew dropped out of high school at the age of 16 and received his GED to get in the Army. He has had very good training and has made the Army his career. Good luck to you.

Right now, assuming you are talking about the US Army, I understand that the the requirements have been relaxed somewhat. If you dropped out of anything between kindergarten and an old age care centre, they will welcome you with open arms. You will be offered a custom-fit body bag to take with you ( saves time in the field ), and as much corn beef hash as you can eat, until you get turned into corn beef hash, that is.
A little hint, if you have loved ones you care about, take out a really big life insurance before you sign up.

Right now you could probably join the army if you dropped out of third grade.
They are getting really desperate for warm bodies to ship over to Iraq to catch bullets for halliburton.
