For the last three months, I get pain in my stomach 1-3 hours after eating food. Its a burning sensation. Now I've started getting pain all the time - it has changed and is more like a stomach cramp like when you have food poisoning. No other adverse affects. Regular as clockwork too! I have to wait three days for the doctors appointment which is a problem as I cant eat!!! What is wrong with me?

sounds like you have Peptic Ulcer Disease. It either gastric or duodenal (first part of your small intestine). there are many things tht we use to help alleviate symptoms which include pepcid, prevacid, prilosec, maalox, gi cocktail, antibiotics. PUD is diagnosed by endoscopy which u should get. the complications of ulcer includes a lot of things including perforation. in the meanwhile, go to a pharmacy and ask the pharmacist to recommend an over the counter medication for stomach ulcers. that should help till you get into see a doctor on wednesday. hope this helps.

It could be gallbladder related, but I had a similar issue where I hurt after eating, then I began hurting all the time. I waited months to do anything and it wasn't until I could no longer pick up my son that I went to the hospital. I did not have any other symptoms. They did an x-ray of my abdominal area and could not find anything, sent me home with an RX for Darvocet. I began having other symptoms (nausea, lose stool) so I went back. They did a sonogram of my lower abdomen and I had E-colitis. They kept me in the hospital 3 days with IV antibiotics and morphine. Long story short, the natural bacteria in my Colon was inflamed. Make sure whoever checks you out does a thorough check, the hospital sent me home sick.

My husband has Gastritis (at least I think that is the name of what he has) and he has much the same symptoms as you. After eating some foods.. mostly spicey foods he sometimes ends up in pain. My husband has been diagnosed and gets treated for it though. Check out the links below they may offer some in site. Other possibilities : an ulcer or lactose intolerance. until you see your doctor, lots of water and lay off any harsh , spicey foods or dairy products. Don't stuff yourself either! hope you get better!

Sounds like gastric reflux or GERD to me. Have you tried any over the counter heartburn meds? That won't fix it, but it may help you eat until you can see a doctor. Good luck!

could be a gallbladder issue, but usually if this is the case they also need to rule out liver disease (hepb or hep c)

good luck.
