I'm not talking about the warm and heavy emotions at the very start of a relationship. I am talking about how do you feel about your significant other in the long run.

How do you know if they make you happy? How do you know if minor annoyances are just part of being human or if they're because you've fall out of love? Is it possible to love someone and not be in love with them.

Please explain.

Sometimes no matter what the other person does and no matter how he/she (I'll use she) treats you, you just can't help but love her even when you try to talk yourself out of it. You feel a special connection with her and no one else. That's what staying in love is to me.
