Well there could be tons opf reasons why your head is hurting.

Like some guy above already mentioned you could need glasses. Has your vision been bad lately? Even if it hasnt you should get it checked out.

Not enough sleep. Tons of people get headaches when they are over-stressed n all. Try getting some rest.

Try taking an Asprin or something for the time being.
Go visit a doctor if the pain continues.
I doubt its anything to do with your period and all.... maybe just too much stress...

You could also try placing a warm wet/damp cloth or towel on your head and just relax on your bed. These sorta soothes the mind....

If you've had a headache for almost a week then you should go see a Doctor. But in the meantime, yes with periods it is very normal to get headaches either before, during or after. I usualy get migraines with mine. If Ibuprofen doens't work I would switch to Tylenol to see if it helps your headaches.

You should see a doctor to rule out any serious conditions. If everything checks out ok you may want to consider herbal supplements. They have formulas specifically for pms symptoms that will help. Just because you never had headaches associated with your cycle in the past, doesn't mean anything. The body changes and may be reacting differently to the hormone fluctuation. Good Luck !

Sounds like a seasonal headache to me. As the weather slowly changes, it is common for many people to get headaches - which are in direct association with allergies and sinuses. Try taking an over the counter allergy and sinus medicine. If the pain persists - see your local physician.

I wouldn't listen to zandelia she isn't nursing or medically trained so can't diagnose one, it would be very unlikely if this is a tumor as you wouldn't suddenly just come on with headaches, it could be to do with diet, not getting enough sleep, or maybe you need to have an eye test, as eye strain can cause headaches, also taking, analgesia for headaches alot can actually cause the, i know it's hard but try not taking any headache tablet and see if that helps for a couple of days, and getting some fresh air, and try not to worry as stress makes them worse

Go see a doctor, headaches are often a sign of some other problem. In my case, it was chronic sinusitis, which I would have never guessed without seeing the doctor.
