His purpose in creating us is to bring to pass our immortality and eternal life. That is his work and his glory. He is our father and wants us to receive of his richest blessings.

It is true that the Bible is made by humans, you do not believe what the humans do or invent? Then do not use the computer, it was invented by human too. But to tell you the truth, the writer of the Bible is not ordinary humans.
2Peter 1:20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of scripture is of private interpretation.
2Peter 1:21 For no prophecy ever came by the will of man: but men spake from God, being moved by the Holy Spirit.
And GOD did not created humans out of His boredom, He created humans by His love.
Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

No we were bored, think of life were you could never feel, water, wind, hot, cold, taste an apple, or strawberry. A life where you could never experience the touch of another person, place or thing, a total spiritual that could not interact with physical things, would you get bored after a couple trillion years.

Ask yourself, "Why did god need to make something like man after he made just about everything else, that would worship him and sing praises to him?"
What kind of god is that self-centered and narcissic? If that's considered a character flaw for humans, it most certainly is for a deity: ergo, god is imperfect and cannot exist. Oh, dear me...

To get the actual proof you are looking for, you would have to get God down here and let Him answer the question personally.
But, I do believe that God WAS bored. Angels, Cherubim, and Seraphim and other previously created beings did not have a choice on communicating with God.
So, my theory is that God wanted someone to talk with. That is why he would actually walk in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve, according to Genesis. But he also wanted his creation to do it out of love for him, not because they were created with only that purpose in mind. So, he created an option for them to choose to have the relationship. After all, isn't it better to be with people who are there out of a choice and enjoy being with you than being with people who are forced to be there?
That's why Christ shed His blood, because it was to bridge the gap between our sin and His righteousness. It's not about self-righteousness, but the righteousness of God. When we re-establish that relationship with God, we re-establish the communication with him. He wants us there because we choose it, not because we are forced into it.
