Because the Coke-Cola company have secretly developed alien technology that enables material to be compressed into wormholes that co-exist alongside the bottle as dark matter.
The disadvantage is, that this matter is 3.7billion times the mass of ordinary plastic and if the pressure inside the bottle reaches what is known as the "fizz omega point" the nuclear reaction would wipe out an area the size of, say, oooohh I dunno... Peru.
Ford on the other hand don't like to risk the compensation claims associated with nuclear oblivion.

well. The 2 litre on a car refers to the cubic capacity (cc) of the cylinders.
Example 4 pistons 2000cc divided by 4 = 500cc
and you cannot sit in a coke bottle. Unless its the one thats shaped like a coke bottle but then its not 2 litres

You're comparing your engine block to the drink container... The 2 liters on your Ford refers to cylinder displacement, but if you poured 2 liters of diet coke into your cylinders... it would fit just right.
Why don't you go do that and report back to us.

Ford Mondildos' are normally the same size as a real dildo, and if desperate you could use your 2 litre bottle for the same purpose!!!
