Who is right when one religion worships a blue elephant? when one worships many gods that control the earth and nature? when one does not focus on a real being, but on a spiritual feeling? when one claims there is only one god and that he is great and that he wears a white robe and has a beard and nifty sandals? and what about the poor folks who lived in unknown villages by themselves in valleys and mountains in secluded countries? I'm sure they didn't get Fedex'd a copy of the bible. So who is credible?

I'll tell you who's credible... people who are not arrogant, ignorant and unkind in speech towards people who are different... in other words: truly altruistic people are CREDIBLE.

If there was a real true religion out there and we receive salvation by believing in it AND if there was an adversary out there, a devil if you will. Would the adversary not try and create a mass of confusion and doubt to thwart the plan of God? Wouldn't he do all he could to frustrate the plan? Makes perfect sense why there is so much confusion. Our objective then would be to sort through it all and find the truth.

There is no one right way. There are so many different religions because everyone needs different nurturing for their place in time. Each is naturally drawn to the belief system whereby they can extract the most value. All paths lead to the same destination. Some are long and winding roads and some are shortcuts, yet the destination is the same. God loves all of his creation and makes it possible for all to return home.

The blue elephant? It depends on which picture you saw, the elephant isn't blue but the painter used his imagination. But anyway, I have no idea who is right. There is too many religions out there, which is kind of why I was put of believing in the first place.

You asked "Who's right" and then you asked "who is credible".

There is a difference, and you should make up your mind what question you are asking.

Personally, it makes no difference. You believe what you want, I'll believe what I want, and we will both find a spirituality that fills our needs and Gods who give us comfort.

After all, isn't that what it's all about? Not who is right or wrong or credible or not. If you find God or Goddess, what can be wrong with that?

I think Buddism has answer for that. As long as you follow your faith, and be good in you life, it doesn't matter what religion you are. The doors to heaven are many.
(I am trying to quote someone who had answer a question just like yours. I know it doesn't quite put the picture, but I can't remember exactly what she said.)

Religion isn't "right" or "wrong." And Christianity isn't the only religion (You said they didn't have a copy of the Bible).
