ive read the quran and its actually awonderful book..its words are beuatiful and the way it is supposed to be read is mesmerizing the why do so many people talk trash about it and take out word from a part to make it sound bad?

God does no forbid you to treat kindly and act equitably toward those who neither fought you in the matter of religion nor driven you out of your home. Indeed, God loves the just. (Quran 60:8)

2:256 There is no compulsion in religion, for the right way is clearly from the wrong way. Whoever therefore rejects the forces of evil and believes in God, he has taken hold of a support most unfailing, which shall never give way, for God is All Hearing and Knowing.

17:53, 54 And tell my servants that they should speak in a most kindly manner (unto those who do not share their beliefs). Verily, Satan is always ready to stir up discord between men; for verily; Satan is mans foe .... Hence, We have not sent you (Unto men O Prophet) with power to detrminthere faith

Sister, while I admire your spirit to show them, they won't see. Many on here are only alive to hate. They don't know how to love. You're going to get answers about bombs and women, but ignore them. They are only going to turn around and cry about the same question again after having had it answered a thousand times before.

THANK YOU!!!! I've been waiting for someone to finally say this.
To answer your question, the reason people attack the Quran is because Christianity and the US government have convinced people that all muslims want to kill everyone else. This makes it so the US has support for their BS war... and Christians can eventually snuff out all free thinking people who don't believe their BS. It sucks, but it's life. Christianity did the same thing to pagan religions during the Crusades. Sad but true.

It is not the inspired word of God. The writer may have thought that he was writing the word of God, but he wasn't. In the Bible, which is the only true book of God, we read in Revelations chapter 22:18: "I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book." That means that books like The book of Mormon and the Koran are additional and not true books of God.

Good for you girl you have read it then I hope you realize what a load of garbage it is the same as the Bible so chunk it in the recycle bin and let something good be made from it.
