Going to a dealer auction with a dealer looking to score a 2006 lincoln under 40k miles ( factory warranty implies 4yr/50k warranty) -- is the factory warranty still valid if purchased through an auction ?

Normally the warranty remains no matter who owns the car...
Although, some things can happen that WILL void the warrenty

IF IT IS A FACTORY WARRANY THEN IT IS TRANSFERABLE TO ANY SUBSEQUENT OWNER AS LONG AS IT IS UNDER THE MILAGE AND YEARS LIMITS, WHICH IT IS.

well my guess is know but u could ask the dealer who is there with there car normally there there so they can aprove of ure bid.
