You may need to do an entire family intervention -- focusing on how you (family) were able to stick together and give each other support during a difficult time.
He needs to know that all his kids love him and miss him and need him -- and that they are afraid that soon he's going to be totally unavailable.
Of course, it might not work, but you have to focus on the fact that you love him.

intervention. your dad loves you kids and the best thing is for everyone to be in on it. set him down at dinner without his lady friends and tell him how you feel. dont approach him by yourself or he will think your the only one that feels this way. if you all intervene then he will open his eyes and see whats going on. support him and help him find a more suitable lady friend. in the meantime maybe he wants t oget a dog or something for a companion.

I went through this myself, except I am the youngest in the family and I had the ENTIRE family involved. My parents got divorced though. You have to talk to your Dad. Just let him know how you feel and how everyone else feels. Let him know that you understand that he is lonely but that you don't think this woman understands your family. She should respect your family if she wants to be with your father. Because it comes in a package not sold separately.

Bottom line if he doesn't see it then I doubt that anything you say will make him see it. For what ever reasons he is willing to stay in this relationship so you must stand back. Beleive without all the feelings that he needs to defend her he will start looking at her for what she really is. If you approach the subject it will not be pretty because he will defend her to the end.

Obviously you care about the well being of your family and your dad. Tell him that. Tell him how you feel and your doing it because you care so much about him. Let him know that you'll always be there for him and you want to see him happy. Just, tell him how you feel but in a way where he doesn't feel like he's being attacked.

when something is new its exciting and sometimes people get caught up in the moment but given time the new wears off and things sort of go back to normal, but if you think this is not the case talk to your father come to him in a adult manner and state the facts he might be unaware of your feelings or he might not care at the moment but at least give him the chance to know.

You can't blame dad for checking the waters, but give him some credit after all he picked your mom. It doesn't hurt however to let him know if you get bad vibes from someone he's seeing, he may be seeing it too.

I understand what you're saying & he'll get it sooner or later. Hopefully sooner. It's a fact that men who had a good mariage want another woman. Sometimes it's not a good thing, but you can't tell him that, because he will reject you. Let it work itself out. He'll come around.

I think he needs to see that for himself...if you tell him something he might think your jealous or upset hes dating someone else...It might get him closer to her so just let him see for his own self that shes no good for him..

Leave this question on the screen. Let him come across this "by accident".
