Arent the other planets in our solar system filled with life like this planet is? I suppose you can use the excuse that they are too hot or too cold or lack atmosphere....but if life is inveitable, wouldnt life find a way to form on these planets as well? Life suited only for those planets, and that couldnt exist on ours? Arent the other planets in our solar system the same age as ours and thefore had the same amount of time for life to form? Or, do you think that our planet is the only one in our soalr system that got lucky enough?

In our solar system earth is probably the lucky one, but in the entire universe I bet we are not alone.

Who says that life is inevitable? But you are right in the assumption that other forms of life MAY exist on other planets. Still, if it was pure luck and time, some planets might have luck and others haven't. As it seems, only a fraction of planets has luck enough.

there was life on mars a long time ago. maybe we're just the ones (in our solar system) with life NOW. not to mention other solar systems.

There might be life in the atmosphere of Jupiter or on one of its moons but no one knows yet.
Life is not inevitable and no one I know has claimed that.

There are billions of galaxies outside of ours. How could we possibly be so conceited as to think ours is the only one with life on it?
