My kitty is adult 5 year old female. Within the past year she has been pooping and peeing on the carpet. We have tried everything. We got an extra litter box, tried every spray out there, shampooed the carpets - everything! Finally we called an agency that takes good care of pets (better then humane society) and told them we needed to get rid of our cat.
But they told us to try out this little bottle of liquid that plugs into your outlet thats suppose to help with kitty stress and that it works on 95% of cats, but of course my cat had to be the 5 percent....

I don't know what to do. I love my kitty I don't want her to see her go. I understand ruining our carpet is a big deal but u wouldn't get rid of your 5 year old son if he still pottied in his pants would you? I begged and cried to have her when I was 11 years old, now 5 years later I will cry to see her leave.... :(

Have you taken her to the vet? It may be a medical issue... Otherwise it looks like you've covered all the other options... Good luck!

Try something on the carpet first. Does the cat go in the same spot all the time? If so this might help. Get some moth balls and put them on the carpet where the cat relieves itself. I had this problem at one point with a cat and it worked. Everytime the cat got near the moth balls she freaked and headed off to the litterbox. Give it a try.
I don't know why the cat has done this. Did you change the litter in the last year, did you change the food. Is there something different in the house that is effecting the cat. They don't do this for no reason at all. You have to try and think about what may have changed in the cat's life that is effecting her and making her do this. She is acting out for some reason.

I only examine an editorial approximately this, you ought to take a towel, and don't rub the urine into the carpet, yet blot it. you ought to try this till each final ounce of urine comes up. every time she pees you ought to wipe it up a similar way. She may well be having a difficulty along with her clutter field. Cats are from the barren region and the floor is sandy. The cat clutter may well be stepping into her paws. replace the clutter, if this would not artwork, replace the place the clutter field is.. additionally I examine that throughout lots of cases the cat is marking her territory to boot. whether she is fixed. She would relatively have a difficulty with (have confidence it or no longer) privateness. See if this works, If no longer visit google, and form in peeing problem for kittens, the will help>
