He does. The fact that we as his creation have a sense of humor, testifies to that fact, for we were created in God's image.
We get enjoyment from watching kittens and puppies at play and from the antics of a child. We can laugh at ourselves and many funny things that happen make us laugh.
What would life be like without the precious gift of laughter or the beauty of a smile?
"Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for Jehovah hath comforted his people, and will have compassion upon his afflicted." [Isaiah 49:13]

Well, who said he doesn't? We do and we are created in his image.
1Timothy 1:11: "according to the glorious good news of the happy God, with which I was entrusted." so the apostle Paul was inspired to call him the HAPPY God!
But also look around you at creation! Have you ever really looked at a hippopotamus? or an ibex, a giraffe, even our domestic animal and their antics! God gave us the ablity to laugh and to love and to appreciate all of his wonderful creation, what a great personality god has and yes, sense of humor. God wanted life to be fun and pleasing to us, and soon in the new system of things it will be just as he had originally planned (before Adam and Eve disobeyed God and brought sin and death into the world.)

He does that's where we get our sense of humor from because we are his offspring. Jesus says some funny things in the Bible if you look closely. I'm sure he wasn't meant everything he said but didn't say everything in a dead serious way. He was probably laughing when he fed that big crowd all that food and he said they were only following him because they wanted more food!

there is humor in the bible. regrettably, a lot of receives lost in translation or from the passing of time. As for "fanatics" -- maximum are exceedingly humorless. yet, non secular human beings may have as sturdy a humor because the non-non secular. that's more beneficial a count number of personality and way of existence.

He does. You really must learn to laugh at yourself. Doing so instills humility and brings you closer to God. In the meantime, God is have a good belly laugh at your expense.
