Hello! My parents are staying in Rome tonight and I would like to ring their hotel to check they have arrived ok. Please could somebody tell me how to ask to be put through to their room when I get through to reception. "Please could you put me through to Mr and Mrs X room?" Thanks!

I wouldn't bother, as you won't know how to pronounce it even if you read it.
The hotel switchboard will speak English, don't worry.
But if you want to try, it's "La camera del Signore

I feel the current 2 thumbs down (included mine) are because you've translated the whole sentence into Italian while asker has requested us to translate just the question for the receptionist.
Besides of this usually is not the asker who rates with thumbs up or down but other answerers that dislike yr answer !!
This said I confirm yr answer is correct (I'm Italian too) but I guess it would be better our man speaks English rather than a bad Italian. At least in Rome all the hotel's receptionist can speak English !!

2) u could say: "buonasera, vorrei parlare con i signori XX, è possibile? ( sono il figlio - l'm the son) ,grazie"
