1 pound = 16 oz, but I think you're looking for how many cups of flour that would be? It depends on the flour and how you measure it. Sometimes the manufacturer will list on the bag how many cups of flour you get per pound, check there first. If it's not listed you can use ~4 oz per cup (for all purpose flour) so one pound of flour = ~4 cups of flour (NOT 2).

When measuring out your flour be sure to fluff it up with a fork or whisk first before lightly spooning it into the measuring cup. Don't dip and scoop it out directly with the cup because that compacts the flour.

1 cup = 140 grams of flour (according to joy of baking)
Also, 1.00000 Pound = 453.59237 Grams
453.59237/140 = 3.2399 cups
