There were some news reports a while ago about an increase in brain tumors from cell phones, but I don't think there was any proof that that was the only factor. If it worries you, stop using it.

I read in a news paper article that it apparently cell phones cause tumors in the brain. I haven't heard of any tumors in the ear.

Scientists have been zapping animals for years trying to find out. Studies have been mixed on that answer, meaning they haven't been reproducible by other scientists. One answer to help you is to use an ear piece and microphone. The radiation emanates from the phone and drops 3 times as fast with each unit distance. So a phone on your hip or on the car seat gives off much less radiation than against your ear.

No; but the use of cell phones does cause the inability to communicate with live humans.

i don't think there have been any legitamite studies on this but i'm gonna guess that they don't. it seems like everyone is always on their cell...but have you ever met anyone that had a tumor in their ear?
