I believe Jesus was a descendant a David. I am looking at this from a Jewish perspective. Don't you think his ancestry would have been disproven early on in his ministry?

according to the law of the time of Jesus' birth, the testimony of 2 witnesses was considered proof (if there was no compelling evidence that the witnesses lied)

We have the Biblical accounts, originally documents written by professed witnesses and giving account of Jesus' heritage as a descendant of David by 2 different lineages (mother AND legal father... Joseph) This makes him "of the house of David."

So... In lacking contrary documents. (none have ever been shown to exist) it must be accepted that He was a descendant of King David.

Jesus is a descendant of David. You are dismissing this because Joseph is not his biological father. Read Luke Chapter 3 for the lineage of MARY. (Basing this on Biblical belief and not scientific proof).

using fact the Sadducees at that element did no longer have confidence in the resurrection. (Matt 22:23; Mark 12:18; Luke 20:27) no longer believing in that ought to undermine the whole reason he got here to Earth, to die. If God did no longer resurrect Jesus, who become honest to the element of loss of life, what assure do something persons imperfect human beings have? Acts 17:31 shows that via Jesus being resurrected, we are assured one to boot, ought to we die. I Cor 15:12-21 additionally shows how if ones did no longer have confidence in the resurrection, their entire faith become ineffective. Jesus' disciples had to have confidence that Christ become resurrected, in any different case all the prophecies, his very own teachings, and their message might have all been a lie.

Maybe it actually was disproved early in his ministry. The form of Christianity now associated with Jesus is a far far cry from what he taught. Man has bastardized it beyond recognition.
