Yes; having done a degree in Religious Studies, I know there is. Most of it has been mentioned in previous posts, even the fact that there is more evidence for his existence than any other historical figure.
What a lot of people do not take into account is that, until the invention of the printing press, not a lot was written down. Therefore, it would not be likely that there would be a lot of info about someone, unless it was considered to be important. That means that any information about him is a lot.
What should be considered is why. Why should an itinerant preacher in a far corner of the Roman empire be considered worthy of writing about?
If you really want to look into this further, a good book to start with, is 'The Case for Christ' by Lee Strobel. He was an investigative journalist, and applied the skills he learned to this question, consulting several experts along the way. It puts information in a clear, easy to read manner, and gives bibliographies if you want to continue looking. A good book.

There is a lot of documentation from 2nd century writers, all of which are over 100 years after the Crucifixion. The Babylonian Talmud records Jesus as being incarcerated for 40 days before being stoned or hung. However, I don't know when that passage was written.

Recently an engraving mentioning Pontius Pilate was found, which is the first proof for his existence. I would say there was a good chance that a man named Jesus was a catalystic figure for the Christian movement.

Given the size and breadth of previous testomony prophecy relating to the appearance messiah (over 1000 references), and given the kind of people to the Biblical text fabric (over 40) and given the huge volume of time over which the texts have been written (over a million,500 years), and supply the certainty that all of the previous testomony prophecies approximately Christ have been fulfilled interior the recent testomony: we are able to end that if the Biblical account of Jesus Christ is fake, it this the single maximum complicated lie ever conceived by making use of fellows. Isaiah fifty 3 even taken by making use of itself fits so seamlessly with the Gospel debts that there can little question of the Gospel’s veracity. further, historic previous tells us of the Roman persecution of the Christians rather under the guideline of Nero (advert fifty 4 via advert sixty 8). If the biblical account weren't real, for what reason might those limitless human beings enable themselves to be martyred? If the bible is fiction as you allege, rather human beings residing in that element era (a number of which probably knew the latter biblical writers in my opinion) might spare themselves by making use of acknowledging it as such.

Aside from the Bible itself there is little. There are some historians who lived not long after the time who record hearing of the figure of Jesus or Christ or some event but they are recording what is told them by followers of the religion or others at the time. They themselves did not live at the time Jesus was alive or have direct knowledge of Jesus. This means it is just hearsay evidence. Like saying I heard from my friend that he wasn't home last night. If I say this I have no direct knowledge whether the person was home or not nor would I know whether what the friend told me was true.

Here are a few non-biblical accounts of Jesus:

Flavius Josephus was a Jewish historian who gives an account of the life, death and res erection of Jesus.

The Roman historian Tacitus tells the story of Jesus, while describing Nero's persecution of the Christians. Other Romans historians who mention Jesus include Thallus, and Pliny governor of Bithynia.

The Jewish Talmud mentions the hanging of a man named Yeshu just after passover.

There is some evidence for and against the existing of Christ, neither of which is very conclusive. Apart from stories in the bible (which may be true, may not be) there is no conclusive proof christ existed, but there is no proof he didn't exist either.

I seem to remember hearing that there is some evidence outside of the Bible and Christianity but only that a man named Jesus existed; not that he performed all those miracles and was resurrected, however.

Not really. Most references are first century, decades after the cult that bore his name had spread around the Roman world. Contempary references are very rare - Flavius Josephus mentions a radical preacher of that name, but it was a very common name, and rabid zealot preachers were ten a denarius in Judea at the time!

A Jewish historian, called Josephus, who would have had no interest in Jesus as a savior/Messiah makes meantion of Jesus in his writing...therefore proving historically that he did in fact exist. What he wrote:

"About this time lived Jesus, a man full of wisdom, if indeed one may call Him a man. For He was the doer of incredible things, and the teacher of such as gladly received the truth. He thus attracted to Himself many Jews and many of the Gentiles. He was the Christ. On the accusation of the leading men of our people, Pilate condemned Him to death upon the cross; nevertheless those who had previously loved Him still remained faithful to Him. For on the third day He again appeared to them living, just as, in addition to a thousand other marvellous things, prophets sent by God had foretold. And to the present day the race of those who call themselves Christians after Him has not ceased."

There are historical reference points in the Bible that can be proven as spots in the stories...however, without some form of time travel camera device, there can never been any actual proof of what happened. Thus, the argument of exaggerated legend versus divinity rages.
