I just started dating again, and was wondering when it is normal for a couple to share their first kiss. Is it at the end of the first date? The second? Somewhere in between?
I went on a date recently with a guy that I am really interested in, but I am painfully shy and self-conscious, so I just hugged him at the end. Ever since, I have been wondering if he was not interested because he didn't try to kiss me, or is it just too soon to be hoping for one. He went out of town right after our date, and sent me an IM the day he got back, so I do have some hope. This is just all very new to me. I never really dated my husband.

When it feels right you'll both know. I would say by the second date for sure.

My bf and I have been going out for over a month now...and we have never kissed, and we're not going to for a while. I think that it's different for different people--whenever you feel comfortable doing it and whenever you feel the time is right.
