"Doesn't the fact that the Bible name-calls atheists prove that atheism is false?" - No. Atheists believe not what the Bible says, so how would that prove anything to them...? Unless this is an attempt to prove atheism false to your fellow Christians... in that case, I guess you would be proving your point.

The bible is just a book. If you seriously think that everything in the bible is true to the letter, life will hold some surprises for you.

Christian leaders have always attempted to discredit other religions...usually they attempt to demonize things as Satanist so the flock will be afraid to think about other beliefs.
The perfect example, as always, would be the witch hunts and how the church demonized many women without any good reason other than keeping the believers in the stable.

The bible is a false document why put so much faith in a book that was written over more than twice?

Well, I would think so. Being singled out for something that is against God's will (saying there is no God) should serve as a warning to those who might beging to question without proper teaching or evidence.

Well that's a catch 22 question...cause you actually have to believe in the bible to question that theory. People who don't believe don't really care what the bible says.

Doesn't science prove that some things in that same book are false as well?

Atheists put their faith in Science, which changes it's colour every other day, using a new theory. They accuse believers of having blind faith, when it is they themselves who blindly support Science(which they think is the "rational" thing to do), even when Science itself cannot make up it's mind about so many things! But religion is Eternal, everlasting, regardless of whatever new discovery/invention is made, so it makes more sense to put your faith in that!
It took science several centuries to prove the existence of gravity, how long do the atheists want to wait?
PS Who says atheists are smart?
