How do I know that he likes me or is just being nice. I am 23 My fiancee is 27. Her dad is a good man but dosn't have alot of $. He just made a deposit on the wedding for like 4,000$$ Me and him are nice to each other but dont have alot in common. How do I know if he secretly wants to kick my ***?

It sounds like he doesn't want to kick your *** if he's putting up money to pay for the wedding. Your best bet is to be as cordial and polite to him as possible, and treat his daughter like a queen.

If he wanted to kick your butt you would for sure know it...he would be rude and make smart comments about you and the things you say. if he has put out that much money in spite of not being well off (money wise) he must like you. If he is willing to help you out with the wedding then he must approve of the choice his daughter made.
My dad is quiet guy...he doesn't say much or express his feelings well...he however bought me my wedding dress. He doesn't say it, but I know he likes my husband.

If he didnt like you he would tell you or he would tell your fiance and she would more then likely tell you. Its an akward position to be in. Of course you wont have a lot in common with her parents.... start picking up on things he watches on tv or music he likes and go from there.
