BBC, Fox, MSN, CNN, they are all the same. They all lie to you.

Fox News is already British owned. I don't imagine BBC will ever take over or replace Fox News; too many people watch Fox News for that to happen, imo.

Amen to that...I stopped watching American news broadcasts a long time ago..All I saw was recycled rhetoric that insulted my intelligence. I found that the reporting was a lot of fluff and presented the issues from narrow perspectives. Not too mention the stories that should have been covered and weren't. It's a big world out there (which doesn't just include the U.S. and the Middle East.) If you really wanna know what's gonna on around the globe, I reccommend the BBC.

While the BBC is substantially more neutral than Fox and generally more accurate, it does have it's occasional mistakes e.g. WTC falling and most of the reporting done during the Troubles, which ws mostly impartial but with slight twists

Realistic reporting? From the mainstream media? Are you KIDDING ME? The powers that be have far too much to lose to allow that to happen.
BBC or FOX, it makes no difference. The BBC reported, on 9/11, that WTC7 had collapsed. Yet the building was clearly standing in the back-ground as it was being reported.
If you want honest news, stick to truth based web-sites and then check their sources and do some research. The mainstream media merely pass on government propoganda as truth, (EG WMD in Iraq) they do not investigate or examine the government claims at all seriously. The mainstream media has been caught-out, peddling lies as truth for far too long. They have no credibility left.

I've yet to see anything on the BBC that is substantially more accurate than CNN. Fox News, not their commentaries, appears to be more balance than other news sources and have yet to be caught making things up like CNN, ABC, NBC, and CBS.

I wonder why in the US, we don't get anybody else's news. Some BBC but we don't get a channel on basic cable, anyway. But we get Fox News???? Many other countries get satellite that includes our news. What's the problem with us getting many others? At least, there's the internet!

If only. Unfortunately the land of consumerism is destined also to be - in many ways - the land of mediocrity.
