Curry is a mix of spices mostly from India, and used a lot in Asian cuisine. it differ from soft taste to very spicy and sometimes it can smell a lot. The usual curry tastes well, and is commonly served with rice side. it makes fish, poultry and meat dishes quite well. It's somewhat spicy, a little sweet and sour and sometimes has a flowery essence. It has yellow to orange color., but there's also green curry.

Ohhh curry! Here in Germany Currywurst (Hot dogs with curry) is huge!! It is a yellowish-orange spice which people here love on their hot dogs (also with catsup together!) It isn’t very spicy but has a strong taste to it. I don’t know where it comes from though (which plant?) but I believe it is a typical Indian spice (from India not the cowboy-Indians!)
Is often used also in rice to liven it up a little.
Dont worry, you will probably like it!!
