Lung inflammation? Hon I would need to know what is causing the inflammation or swelling. The term is pneumonitis and lungs don't just inflame for no reason...she takes 8 pills a day? Maybe she has tuberculosis?? If that's the case it will not kill her unless her immune system is not competent enough. Find out more and post it. I will check again later!

I agree with your first answer. What is causing this lung inflammation? There has to be some type of cause for the lungs to be inflammed, especially if a doctor thinks that they won't work enough in 3 to 6 months for good air exchange. Did she get put on a transplant list? Is she on oxygen right now, or some other type of device that is adminstering her air? Another question....hope this doesn't upset you, but I've seen this before many times. Could all this be just made up? Think about all these questions. I wish you and obviously her the best of luck in the future.

You need to find out what caused the inflammation and what treatment options are available. Is it lupus? Is it from cancer? Do research on wht type of inflammation it is, what it is caused by and what treatments are available. See a pulmonologist at a good hospital.

No one here can tell you anything because you don't give ANY details. If 3 doctors have all said the same thing, then I'm sorry. Check into some alternatives. I'd send you some info, but since you don't say what she has and what she's already tried, I can't help you.

6 months -Sounds very serious.
I was about to lose my colon due to inflammatory bowel disease, but was able to avoid it by fasting in America, with Dr. Scott of fastingbydesign.com
Talk with him - I know he will be able to help you.
