i was born and raised in the uk, england to be specific, but do you think its a country that should be proud of the way it is?

How can you be proud of a system that encourages inequality, has an abhorrent international agenda which includes getting in bed with America and whose citizens are apathetic and lazy. However, i like you pommies because you are down to earth and talk funny. cheers

As a German national, I must tell you that I really like the UK - I have many friends in England, Scotland and in Wales...A beautiful and wonderful country.
But, unfortunately, your food is not the best! ;-) And the UK (for me) also is an extremely expensive country -- but, very, very beautiful and nice...Yes, it's a good place to live!!!

Looking at the big picture .Different govs.the world over. etc,I think is.And yes im proud of it.I think the laws are better,although not perfect.Protecting poor better.And National health is better than no health care at all ,like in some countries were if you cant afford it you suffer.

I think it is going really downhill..
Sure, it is better than a LOT of places. But .. I wish i hadn't grown up here. And as soon as my education is over - i AM moving out of here.
And it's kinda sad really.. that this little country is so messed up when it's one of the richest and most powerful in the World.
