God impregnate a virgin so the people would believe in Jesus Christ.
In those days, It still took a woman and man to make a baby, since all those people were having sex, we are in existance today.
A man raised a stick and parted a sea, because God had sent his SON to DIE for our sins, if you were going to die for my sins and be tortured the way he was, I bet you god would let you part a sea as well.
Its unlikely there is video footage from the 19th century...Because once again, all those men and woman having sex, put someone on earth for some video footage, and if god hadn't impregnanted a virgin, sent his son, to part and sea and we tortured for your sins, you wouldn't be looking at video footage of anna nicole right now

I know what you want me to answer (reason), but really, couldn't you have been a litte more subtle?
btw, Mary didn't have a sperm inside her until after she got married; the 23 chromosomes her egg didn't have were added on, not even by a holy sperm. the stick didn't part the sea, the Spirit did. both angels and birds are creations; not all angels even look like humans with wings. bodies decompose, souls enter eternity. Ever heard of a placebo?; some people feel effects because they THINK that's gunna happen. the Bible is the Word of God.
and wouldn't it stand to reason that nothing comes from nothing? so then that rules out the Big Bang, as the singularity came from no where.

When people die, yes, their bodies decompose. It's their SOULS that go somewhere else.

R, E, A, S, O, N of course, but no religion is based on reason or physical evidence, because it would cease to be religion. Most religion (God, if you believe that) requires of mankind to exercise some level of faith and choice, without which man cannot progress. That being said, on an individual level some of these items may be more or equally believeable (most are for me), but I was answering on a global level.
