As the male species you have different ways of thinking to women I understand that but can someone please explain to me Banter ( causal talking) with your male friends talking about sex with other women. How harmless is it if you say you want to have sex with another female but your actually talking to that person and your in a relationship you may not be tallking about sex with her but you told your friend you wanted to.

People people for ones who dont understand He was talking to his male friend about wanting to have sex with another girl and the girl who he wants to he talks through facebook messaging. Not clear on if they are flirting I am just wondering is it different if the girl was a stranger or someone your actually in contact with due to working in the same company but miles apart.

Alot of times its just to look cool in front of your friends. You'd be surprised how many guys say they want to have sex with someone but when it comes down to it, they don't really.
Guys always fantasize about other women and the best way I can describe it is that its like looking at a pretty flower - you admire it, briefly think about picking it, and keep walking by and then forget you ever saw it.
When a guy says he'd have sex with another women, it makes us females feel unloved when it has nothing to do with love. Its just a biological response guys don't have much control over, and how deep are their conversations with their friends? Its just talk. Don't worry.

Depends on the morals of the person being talked about. Some may jump at the chance (if it were possible), some may only be having some fun to wind up the woman, some may just be keeping in with peers.
Strange as the idea seems, some of us do have morals and wouldnt at any point go with the woman if in a relationship.
Sweeping statements and stereotypes only work for a percentage.

It's harmless as long as it's a gesture towards a stange woman i.e some girl in a pub or club, and that you don't actually do anything with her.
It gets complicated if the comment is about another friends girlfriend or sister or a work colleauge for example, as you have to associate with that person regularly.
There is and old saying "The walls have ears." Well, the walls have very big mouths as well in my opinion. People should think about things before they say them.

Right..... when the guys get together... we will sometimes tell each other which friends g/f's we would Sh*ag.....but it is normally said in a complimentary way and no action would be taken.....as... if it was all the boys would feel threatened and a massive fight would insue......
Cmon ..... girls talk about everything that happens in the bedroom...with their friends why arent we allowed to have some harmless fun...

Many men like to flirt with danger, or they're simply not secure in one relationship and want to keep their options open. Simply stated, they "pull" a phone number so when you're not in the picture they have a number to call and some woman to fall back on.

Ladies, they'll probably throw me out of the he-man club for telling you, but men want to have sex with nearly everything. The man you're in a relationship with probably would do your mom if the opportunity presented itself.

Happens all the time with mates. See a girl like the look of her, discuss it. Men don't really find this wrong (at least with my circle of friends). its just a laugh really....
Acting upon that would be different however.

Think of the males as a pack. Then think of everyone wanting to find a common ground. Then put the two together and get young males that are full of testosterone telling each other of their conquests (kills) and you get the picture.....don't worry ...we all grow out of it........eventually.
