My chiuahuah puppy is 18 weeks old, and so cute. I'm wondering how long I should expect her to keep growing. She was the runt of the litter and ways about 3 lbs now. Also any guesses on how big she will get?

My chi puppy is 17 weeks old and she weighs about 5 lbs. You can look on the Internet under chihuahua weight chart and it will give you an idea about how much she should weigh full grown. However, this chart is not always accurate. Your breeder should give you an idea about her weight..it's called 'charting out'. My chi weighed 3 1/2 oz at birth and according to the breeder she has been charted out to be around 5 - 6 lbs, much like her parents. But chi's are different when it comes to getting full grown. They can get full grown anywhere between 5 to 9 months and being the runt doesn't really mean anything - sometimes runts get bigger than the rest of the litter. One indication of their maturity is the color(s) of their belly, oddly enough. When their pink belly begins to change to a darker color this is an indication of being at their full or near maturity size. My chi has very little pink now and according to my breeder she is about as big as she's going to get, give or take a few Oz's even though she's only about 4 mths old. My guess is that your chi won't get much bigger - probably 4 to 5 lbs - check out her belly and you can get an idea from that. Keep in touch with your breeder like I do - they can inform you of all kinds of things. :)

My friend has a Chiuahuah and he was the runt. Her dog is, i'm gonna guess about 4-6 lbs. and that's only how big he will get. So probably around that.

18 weeks...That means 4 1/2 months...She should stop growing at about a year old....She will probably get about 4-5 pounds....I am getting a Chi in about a week. He is also the runt of his litter and I am expecting him to get no bigger than 4 pounds...My Chi that I already have is 11 pounds. He isn't even over weight...He is just a big chi...Lol. Pure bred too. I dunno how he got so big. The top of his back is about 11 inches from the ground....and from the end of his neck to the beginning of his tail he is 14 inches...

She should grow to about 9 months or so (chihuahuas stop growing at a younger age than larger breeds). And she'll probably be between 4-5 pounds (though she may get a little heavier as I noticed that although the bone structure stops around 9 months they may still "fill" out up to 15-18 months)

Even though chiuahuahs are a small breed of dogs, they still get bigger than three pounds. three pounds is only like a third of how big they will get. my chiuahuah is about 9 lbs at a healthy weight.

he's starting to be to be the doggie equivalent of a 2 3 hundred and sixty 5 days old! ultimate element you're able to do is shop up the corporate self-discipline and make optimistic he gets a good number of exercising to burn off a number of that potential. as quickly as that potential is long gone, he will calm down and then this is the time to artwork with him on coaching. And it must be an on a daily basis element. this is Me Or The canines is nice, I want the canines Whisper in my opinion. Cesar explains plenty extra approximately how canines think of and all that. yet the two coaching and exercising are a ought to!

Aww you have a Chihuahua puppy?! THEY ARE SO CUTE!
I'm pretty sure they usually weigh about six pounds full grown. I can't say how big yours will get, though, since she was the runt of the litter. Good luck!

Once she gets to a year old she won't grow anymore, you shouldn't worry so much about size if she weighs 3 lbs at 18 weeks she won't reach more than 5 lbs.
