Heres proof , thousands of muslims have died with great publicity for their religion no matter how evil their cause was, show me one christian except christ who has died for christianity by the way i am a christian too.

I would say that muslims, in general, are closer to God because they at least try to practice what they are told as best as possible. Christians ignore most of the bible (not all, but many) and have sex promiscuously out of marriage, dress almost nakedly, and claim they are being Godly. I'm not talking about a nice shirt and a nice pair of jeans. I'm talking about see through bra showing shirts, bikinis, and all of that. Muslims show their love for God by dressing modestly and praying, woshipping, basically almost everything the Quran commands.

Christians have died for their faith over the centuries since Christ died right up till today - Stephen, Paul, Peter in the first century, Polycarp, Ignatius of Antioch.
Some are well known- google and yahoo should help out. Some are known to God only.
Devotion and commitment to a religion is personal. You cannot generalize and say Muslims are more devoted than Christians or vice versa .

No, I don't think you are right. I think it is much more accurate to say this: SOME Muslims are more devoted to their religion than SOME Christians. I know Muslims and Christians who take their religion very seriously, but I many who are Muslims and Christians in name only.

there are thousands of christains who died for Christianity..many became saints martyrs...An emperor ordered that his son be killed because the son din't giveup christianity...Even children got killed..There have been a lot of miracles when christians have been killed..like 40 crowns sent by God over the water of an icy lake where 40 men were left because they didn't give up christianity and refused to obey the idols..Did it happen so to muslims?
Also haven't you heard abot the christians given to lions in the roman arena?
I also would like to tell you that there been saints who went in prison because they preserved the icon of God which was considered as being an idol although idols were only the statues of the gods (like Apolo) made by demons..Idols are only those gods that doesn't exist..not the portrait of the real God.

I heard there is still persecution in some Asian countries and Northern African countries. God bless them all!
but yes, muslims are more pious. I don't think it'd hurt to memorize the Bible....Scripture actually encourages, no, instructs it (that we know the word so we won't sin as much and so we're equipped for situations)!

every christian eaten by a lion in the roman era, every one persecuted and killed in africa, china. every missionary and red cross worker who ever got hit in an attack or eaten by cannibals.
oh, they didnt just make up crucifiction to get rid of jesus anyhow, it was religious persecution and genocide of the time.
just cos george bush hits alot of ppl with bombs who happed to be muslim doesnt mean they are dying for thir faith.
