They cant seem to see that this is only delaying the inevitable. Their whole season now is based on a victory against Celtic because they have nothing else to play for. Give them their 5mins of glory, it's all they're going to get this season.
Let them bask in their temporary light at the end of a particularly long tunnel. It wont be long till Osasuna extinguish this dim light and plunge them into darkness(hopefully for a bloody long time).
I've no real time for either side of the Old Firm but the smug look on the faces of Rangers fans at the weekend just p1ssed me right off. You would have thought they had won the fcukin league the way they were goin' on.
Look at the real picture, Gers fans. After the Sheepies win their game in hand youz are only 4 points ahead of them. THATS HOW GOOD YOU REALLY ARE!!!!!

Why is it when youse get gubbed it becomes a meaningless game? Any of the Players over all the years will tell you there is no such thing as a meaningless Old Firm match.

Pretty obvious mate - they just beat their biggest rivals Celtic at Celtic Park in one of the biggest rivlaries in the world.
League positions & cup runs are irrelevant when two rivals meet. Hence, a derby is NEVER meaningless. If Celtic fans didn't wake up this morning felling gutted then they are not true fans.
For the record I don't follow either side.

Look at the league Tony, it's meaningless. Rangers are in dire straits, if they lose and go out on Thursday, it's another massive debt building up and there's no way there's going to be any money to add to the squad. They have a massive wage bill again, due mainly to players who PLG signed on long contracts and aren't playing, and who no other club will pay money for. The losses Murray predicts are coming from players having to be bought out of their contracts and paid off faster that Lanarkshire steel workers. They are also desperate to get into the Champions League due to the fact that they need to be there so Murray and his walking stick can get the best price for Rankers when Clyde Property put the club on the market.
You're right about that Middy, they were all in the closet on Friday and Saturday, now they all come crawling out to celebrate closing the gap to a mere 16 points, hehe.
Celtic lost their composure yesterday, no doubt about it. But the referee shyed away from making crucial decisions (the penalty in particular) and all because of his beef with Lennon after the debarcle at Ibrox a few years ago.
