Search through Google for "flight simulator forums", "flightsim forums" and just "flightsim".

Many of the flight simulation sites have forums where you will find very helpful people. Some of the sites have instructional articles too.

No. Simulators are useful for getting to grasp procedures and bobbing up your tool flying skills. For a newbie pilot, they might purely be good for helping you out with how the common cockpit gadgets artwork. Even then, that's something you are able to easily study in the actual element. different than that, they are no extra effective than a toy. those statements even carry real whilst speaking with reference to the huge airline simulators. i'm no longer asserting that simulators are undesirable or that they reason undesirable conduct (heck, just about each airline pilot below the age of 40 grew up taking part in MS Flight Simulator). They certainly have their place and that's no longer to coach new pilots the thank you to fly. in case you choose to verify to fly a airplane, then visit a flight college and study in the actual element. BTW, pilots say those issues using fact simulators experience no longer something like the actual element. Even airline simulators don't experience something like the actual airplane. they are in lots of cases extra stable to fly than a actual airplane using fact they have an inclination to be extra risky. this would especially circumstances be used on your benefit. this is why simulators make such great coaching units whilst happening your tool score or whilst only brushing up on your tool flying skills. They rigidity you to maintain a speedy tool test going and to have 'easy hands.'
