1. Its safe to wash relaxed hair after 1-2 weeks. Once your hair has been relaxed you cant "un-relax" it by washing it. Not washing your hair will only cause a nasty, oily build-up!

2. Once your hair starts to grow out, the new growth will curl up to your original texture. That just means that its time for another relaxer.

3. You can use just about any product that you want on relaxed hair. Mousse, hair spray, spritz, gel, hair lotion, grease...you get the point!

4. Wash your hair at least once a week. And make sure to deep condition after ever wash because relaxers strip your hair of moisture.

5. When in doubt contact the person that styled your hair.

Ok, im assuming you mean you've gotten your hair RELAXED "permed" which is the reason your is straight.

1) You CAN wash your hair after its been permed. (but not like the next day, although i believe once the perm has taken it'll still be ok)

2) Depends on your natural hair texture. Does it normally curl when you get it wet? If so, all you should need to do is straighten it with a blow dryer/cheat iron

3) mousse and hairspray - yes....lotion???? why dont you try hair grease like Perfect for Perm, Ultra Sheen, Razac...ect.

4) They say washing atleast once a week is healthy, but being black also with "ethnic" hair that's not always ideal.

not an expert on hair, but hope this helps.

What process did you use to straighten the hair? If you used a ceramic flat iron, most likely the hair will revert. If you relaxed or did the Japanese Thermal straightening, your hair should remain straight for 2-6 months. You can use products, but you should make sure they're formulated for relaxed hair. I would recommend that you was your hair as you normally do.

you should have researched the straightening technique you did before you did it or at least asked the stylist how you could manage and take care of you hair after the process.
