Theres alot of personal opinions on this subject and really its down to you as the owner about how you feel. While i was taking my puppy to puppy parties another owner was dog sitting a vaccinated irish setter, she asked the vet if it was safe for her pup to be around the older dog and the vet said yes,as the dog has been vaccinated and theres a very slim chance of the pup becoming ill. With my own dogs,i have there puppy jabs and thats it,there is no need to get them vaccinated every year and it actually weakens there imune system, when i brang my pup home,my older dog hadn't been vaccinated sinse she was a pup and we never expeirienced any problems, both are happy healthy and natural. So yes you will be fine esp as the older dog has been vaccinated.

It can be dangerous to the puppy. I would keep the puppy away from other dogs, or areas that other dogs have been around, until you get her vaccinated. I have also been told, that after the puppy is vaccinated, that you should wait at least two weeks, before any contact with other animals.

Yes-a vaccinated dog can carry the illnesses despite being immune itself.
If your bringing a puppy into a house with an adult dog though you will have to risk it.
Odds are it will be ok but the chance exists.

When it came to my puppies, I never let anyone near them until they have had their first shots. Which made it tuff when someone wanted to pick out a puppy. Even after the shot I made them put on hand sanitizer lol I am pretty bad when it comes to my puppies.
It could be dangerous. If the dog was vaccinated then it shouldn't be to bad.. but you need to get your puppy it's shots.

Vaccinated dogs can be carriers for many canine diseases in the environment, even though they themselves are not at risk. I would recommend keeping your pup away from other dogs and areas where dogs are (pet stores, parks, etc) until vaccine series is complete.

it didnt hurt my pup, it happened only the once, my friend arrived with her dog and said it was ok as she was vaccinated. i was a bit worried, but it worked out ok.. i wouldnt have taken my pup to the park where there is lots of dog mess and stuff, but would have no worries inviting a friends vaccinated dog around to socialise before vaccination.

they do say that it is harmful coz puppies dont have an immune system but some people risk it and dont have their dogs immunised,so suppose its just a personal thing and how much you value your puppy.
