Beta_Fishy: I want to make people aware of it so that they don't convert to Mormonism.

Why do you want to make people aware of it?

Why not pick on some truly interesting rituals...like some of the Pagan fertility rites? Or the live burial of children practiced by some Hindu sects? Or the torture and mutiliation of boys for their initiation into adulthood in some primitive cultures?

Dabbing somebody with oil...sorry, not all that exciting.

This is part of their Temple rite. The "open-sided ponchos" are called shields. The "others apply oil to their naked body" are anointing the body for it's proper use unto God. I see nothing wrong with serving each others in this manner. It is done in a quiet, respectful, manner there is nothing done there that could be called improper..
Any one who has been around for a while knows that Mormonism and I don't see eye to eye. But where there is no real reason to correct wrong or point out that their leaders are leading them away from Christ and not towards Him then I will support their actions that may actually be faith promoting.. Correction: Closed-sided ponchos

Since 2004, the people are no longer naked under the ponchos, and the oil & water is applied only to the forehead; a 'symbolic' washing and annointing rather than a literal one.

i've got in no way seen any doctrines of any faith mocked or different individuals portrayed as servants of devil interior the temple. i've got in no way made a blood oath or made grotesgue gestures. i've got in no way heard of every physique being threatened by using the Mormon priesthood. bypass forward and take it for fact in case you like, in spite of the reality that i think of you recognize greater useful. i admire attending the temple. this is an extremely calm and inspiring place the place i think very on the factor of God. in case you pick to mock or ridicule that, i won't have the ability to offer up you, yet i'm going to ask in a well mannered way which you refrain from mocking what I carry sacred.

I don't know Meat...those ceremonies I understand are kept extremely secret. I had a friend who was a mormon and she did explain some things...but not about things like that.

what is the word for people who don't want to ask questions but come to a forum called 'Answers' and ask questions that they know the answers to and were posting to make a point?

Because Mormonism is a freakish sex cult of heinous pagan freemasonic practices hiding behind the name of "christianity" to apear legitimate. It's the kinkiest bunch of lunies.
