I took a test last week, it was positive. I had light spotting (pinkish) Saturday night, then on Sunday I got what seems to be my period. Also on Sunday I experienced heavy cramping followed by two large blot clots. I'm still bleeding, have light cramps and small clots. What do you think? I'm going to the doctor tomorrow.

I'm sorry to say but it does sound that way. I know it sounds gross but if by any chance you have the clots you should take them with you to the dr. It freaked me out when i had to do it. Try not to use tampons they say you should use a pad for at least a month after a miscarriage, not sure why. Best wishes.

Im sorry, but it sounds like a miscarriage... bleeding with clots anytime in pregnancy isnt good. Im so sorry. But, still go to the dr, maybe everything will be OK. My husband had a friend that was pregnant a few years ago, and she said she had full blown periods for 5 months into her pregnancy, and she didnt even know she was pregnant until after those stopped. So it could be nothing or it could be something. Either way, dont stress too much about it (i know easier said than done) and just go to the Dr's tomorrow or today and tell them whats been going on. I'll pray for you. Good luck and God bless...

Sounds like a miscarriage to me. You have all the signs. Im sorry. Your doctor will know for sure, but I wish you the best. My doctor told me if I thought I was having a miscarriage and I had blood clots to save it so they could test it and maybe tell me what happened and what caused the miscarriage. But I am 21 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby.

Depending on how far along you are this could be no big deal. Some people have spotting throughout there whole pregnancy however the large clots concerns me. Usually miscariages are pretty painful so I'm not sure that is what you are experiencing.

It sounds like an early miscarriage to me. Had you not taken the test, you probably would have mistaken it as your period. I'm very sorry to hear about your miscarriage, I wish you the best of luck in the future!

Yeah, you should listen to thepenismightier, I'm sure he's a registered gyn-ob, just wait until tomorrow and don't listen to any of us smartasses here, none of us could possibly know for sure.

Yes..it does. It was most likely a blighted ovum. The egg was fertilized but no embryo was developing.

I'm afraid so - the signs aren't good. But the doc will be able to tell you for sure.
