I'm cooking a roast and was curious as to how often I should baste and inject the roast with the juices so it doesn't dry out.

Injecting a roast with juices is like drilling a hole in the bottom of a leaky rowboat to let the water out.
Your injection just provides a path for the juices to flow out faster.

well I know my beef needs juiced often at least 2 while cooking
