If I've broken up with a guy, it's for a reason, or maybe even for many reasons. If things changed - like what you're describing - and I really do still have feelings for him, I'd probably give him another chance, yeah, as a one-time only thing. If things stay "changed" great; if they go back to the same old problems, then that's it for good.
Generally, though, I believe in making my choices carefully and then dealing with the results, without looking back or regretting things - life's way too short to stay stuck in the past.

I believe that if a person had any feelings for someone they need to check those feelings out, especially if they plan to move on with someone new.
In your case above I would give a chance to make sure I was feeling love, or if nothing was truely there.
If I was in a relationship already, and I had these ?able feelings, it would only be fair to the person I was with to tell them I had "unfinished feelings". If that person loved me or cared about me, they would allow to me check out those feelings and wait until I knew.
Although, I would understand if that person didn't want me to. But I would still let him go, to find out the truth. Otherwise I would be lying to myself and any other relationship I would have, I might still think about those unfinished feelings.
If that were the case no relationship would ever work.
So yes, I would give him another chance.

It all depends on the reasons I broke up with him in the first place. It also depends on if I told him that the things he has now changed were problems. If I did, then he does not get a second chance for making changes that in the long run will not work. NOBODY can change who they are for someone else.

Well, after I missed that boat, it was renovated and redecorated, someone else may want to jump into that boat. I would start looking for a bigger boat rather than sitting at home imaging what if.

If I really liked him, I might try it again.
There's no point in carrying a torch for someone the rest of your life though.

Yes, I would, but I'd have to hear it from him.
