Why is it that whenever I (or any guy for that matter) talk to a pretty girl I always tend to hold my breath and/or not be able to breathe? How can I fix this problem? Do alot of guys have this problem? Guys and girls can answer.

Yes and most women find this adorable and will help you with the conversation if they are interested in pursuing a relationshp. Men feel nervous around a pretty woman - that's normal. Sound just hide it real well.

Sounds like you're experiencing some 'breath taking' gals. : ) Just kidding.
Try to relax and know that they too may be nervous when they talk to you.
If you're relaxed when you start talking to them, chances are they will relax too and think of you as a guy whose in charge and has it together.
Take a deep breath next time and walk right up and smile and say hi and start a conversation about something you're comfortable talking about or something the two of you might have in common.

This can happen to some guys, they get nervous around the girl and try to not think about it,
dont worry you just need practice talking to pretty girls
Practice in the mirror or somthing

Its a matter of self confidence. Being raised around women I never had any difficulty talking to them, but what you're experiencing is not at all unusual.
My best advice is to just be yourself; don't think about it as a conversation with a girl.

That's a normal reaction when you are nervous. Just try to take a few deep breaths before you speak to them and this helps.
Just remember that they aren't any better than you, and youll build the confidence up so that it becomes easier.

Talk to many many girls. You'll see that you'll get of that problem eventually.
AND be cool. You are a human and the people you're talking to are humans too. Don't be afraid to make mistakes.

It's really normal.
Guys really tend to have that feeling around girls.
My suggestion, you should just relax and be yourself.
If that doesn't work then don't talk to girls alone, go talk to girls with your other friends.
After you feel comfortable around girls, you can try talking to them again.
