Yes, It was stupid to pay up front for a credit card, it does not excuse the fact that these people are defrauding people.
I contacted my other credit card company that I put this on and cancelled my acount. It's still gonna cost me, but Horizon will not be reaping my hard earned!!!! I plan on contacting the Attorney Generals office and other authorities about these people. Please my fellow internet folks do not go ordering things when you are depressed and tired. You do not think clearly and mistakes happen!!!!!!!!!!! Any other advise is welcome. I have beaten my self-up already. I hope not to hear
too much critizim

Wow! I do not have an answer but I must thank you greatly for this Question! I just received a post card in the mail from horizon gold! and recently I've been depressed about having to pay my other overdue accounts and this postcard said I'm Pre- approved for 500.00! It was like an answer to my prayers but knowing how the world is these days i decided to google Horizon credit cards and your comment came up and gave me info that definitely will keep me from making something I'd definitely end up regretting.Thank you! I'm sorry this happened to you. and i hope you have a lot of support in doing something about this!

There are scams everywhere, and they like to show up where people are, like the internet. If they get one response in 1,000, that makes them a lot of money.

For the future, I would like you to look at things differently.
Regard everything as a lie, or a scam unless it can be proved otherwise. Develope critical thinking, because the world is not only filled with lies, but also filled with a lot of innacurate information, that people beleive to be true.

Have fun, playing in the minefield
