We don't understand life's value, we have to GIVE life value. Life really is what you make it. The goal of understanding life is a great pipedream but it's unrealistic to expect to succeed.

Most probably only understand the value of life as they are dying. The truth is life has no value other than what you place on it. Life is like any object. Some souvenirs are more valuable than gold. Your grandmother's locket may be priceless even though it was only silver.

Life is the same way. It is as valuable as it is to you.

Value and Life.... hmm...,

Value, what is the value?

Since we age and ultimately face death, our actions lead to knowledge or is it not?

If age and death leads to better knowledge, if only so, we must understand something, but can we truly know it?

The real question is whether our knowledge is pure and perfect. Is it?

Now, what is life?

Do we have true knowledge of life?

Are we even a pure being?

Do you understand the value of life?

This human form of life is a great gift from mother nature because is very rarely achieve and is the only form, among the all animal forms that you can inquire about the Absolute Truth. I the other forms of lower animals, you just are busy in the four propensities of eating, sleeping mating, and defending.

When you learn to love everything equally and have compassion for all life then you learn to value all life. At least that is the conclusion I have come to in my life.. I see people every day who give not a second thought to the spider and crush it beneath their foot merely because it was in their presence, those same people do not know the value of life and can never understand for they do not have the compassion required to value the fragility of life and its great pricelessness. When you see that even the life of a spider is precious and priceless, you find the compassion necessary to value its life with that of your own... we all value our own lives, the secret to understanding the value of life in general is to love every life as equal to that of your own.. then and only then can you truly understand the true value of life. I once said that without compassion there can be no understanding and without understanding there can be no compassion... I find this holds true in life and where people do not understand another living beings life they have no compassion we should all seek more compassion in our hearts so that we may understand the value of life. I think more people need to walk a mile in anothers moccasins or paws or claws whatever.. once we can do that and love the lives of others as we love our own then we understand and see the value of all. When people say they love their dog but not as much as they love their children or human family I feel sad for them because I know they do not know the secret and have not the understanding to hold all life in the highest regard of love... why must we love one life above another? because we cannot see and we think that there must be degrees of love... truly there is not... when you love truly then you love all equally and in so doing you understand the value of life because love provides the compassion necessary for understanding lifes value.
