The demon in me keep try to tell me to let him take over so he can control the world one day. If I refuse, the demon would try to bribe me to do it myself and he'll help me through. This is driving me crazy. I don't want to rule the world. I can hear his voice all of the time even when I'm sleeping, I can't stop him!
Is it normal to have desire to rule the world or is it just the demon in me?

Stop listening to voices that don't give you peace. Read the Bible and seek God---that's the ONLY way to really get rid of most or all of those evil voices. As a Christian, I still hear the enemy trying to get the best of me but not very often because I ask God to keep my mind pure so I can enjoy the day He has given me.

not everyone has a demon inside. are you just using "demon" as a metephor for your sinful urges? 'cause if you are, you're technically incorrect.
I doubt your possessed, but a desire to be dominant is normal. Maybe yours is just inflated. try thinking about how you could never handle the pressure of ruling the world or how armies would likely revolt; talk yourself out of it if you must.

Only if you are a short mouse that speaks like Orson Welles. I am referring, of course, to the character "Brain" in the animated cartoon show "Pinky and the Brain", which usually started with this conversation:
Pinky: "Gee, Brain, what are we going to do tonight?"

I would seek professional help for the voice...otherwise...if you have good intentions on ruling the Earth go for it...but you probably won't succeed
