I just wanted to know more about "anointing with oil". I have read about this in the Bible and I like to hear about people who have experienced it.

Yes my father suffered a breakdown and was heavily depressed for several years. He had been admitted to hospital, had shock treatment etc.Nothing helped. He was incapable of decision making. My mother was a christian who one day read about anointing with oil and took him to the local minster in their (traditional type) church.
This was far from common practice. But my mother had faith. They prayed together, the vicar poured the oil on my fathers head, then my parents went home. In the middle of the night my father woke with a burning, glowing sensation that started at the back of his head and went forward and he described it as entering each part of his brain. He was completely, miraculously healed. I remember as a child the incredible difference this made to our lives.

I lost my job almost a year ago and had been searching ever since for another.
After so many months of searching, my sense of self worth was really taking a beating.
Last week I participated in a healing ritual at the UU church I've been visiting.
As I was being anointed I really concentrated on healing my self esteem, and later meditated on it. The very next day I received a call about one of the jobs I had submitted my resume for, interviewed the next day, and was offered the job the day after that.
I don't really believe in miracles but I do think that combining my energy with the various energies of the people participating really played a part.

I got anointed with oil when my back went out. I was back to feeling great the next day! It doesn't always happen and I can't explain why or why not. I do believe God still heals, but He doesn't heal everyone. My dad didn't get healed, and he died. That hasn't stopped me from believing. He is just in heaven before me and I will meet him up there again someday.

There's nothing to tell except, I was feeling ill, was anointed as prescribed in the Word of God, and by the end of service, I was feeling better

I am a true believer in anointing with oil The book of Matthew tells how to anoint with oil befor you fast which is a sacrifice before God i do this to get closer to God it is amazing what can happen i have been anoited in church before and when they prayed for me i got laid out in the Spirit. and God has heeled me before but he used a woman to speak it to me God can do anything when he wants to and use who he wants to so there you go thats my answer.

I was annointed with oil when I had cancer, and I was healed. No denying I had a great doctor, and state-of-the-art medicine. But, it was God who did the actual healing, even my doctor would tell you that. You may not consider that a miracle, but my family and I sure do. Not everyone repsonds to chemo, but I thank God that I did.

I found that, when properly applied, sex got a lot better.
